Petrol engines
Strong engines are quite becoming on decent cars, which is why for the Superb you can also choose to have a six-cylinder 2.8 30V engine with an output of 142 kW. The selection is rounded off with four-cylinder 1.8T/110 kW or 2.0/85kW engines.
Diesel engines
All diesel engines can boast of offering good fuel economy along with ample dynamics. The selection is comprised of the 1.9 TDI PD engine with an output of 85 kW and 2.0 TDI PD/103 kW turbo diesel with DPF.
Manual gearboxes
Depending on the type of engine selected, the Superb is equipped with a five-speed or six-speed mechanical gearbox.
Automatic gearbox
Thanks to intelligent electronics, the five-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox shifts gears according to the style of driving. If you want, the gearbox will also let you change gears manually.
