Whilst I like the Skoda Fabia in almost all of its variations, the white roof version looked ‘cheap’ and rather stark compared to the other colours. This is rather a pity, for the car is a joy to drive, with a performance beyond its class.
I’ve just ordered one, I’m not 100% on the white roof either but I used to have a Corsa (as does everyone else around here) and I’m looking forward to telling which one’s mine from distance of more than 30 yards. It’s stylish and cheap to run and insure – I’m getting the diesel so for £35 a year tax, 4.6ltr fuel for 100km and cheap insurance plus a nice drive and something a little different I think it seems really great so far. Its on special offer now too, so I’m even more pleased. Shame about the wait, but it’s only a couple of weeks, just hope it’s in time as my tax on my old one runs out in 14 days!
When people begin to choose a car class «B», among the first models, on which he ostanavivaet eyes, – Skoda Fabia. And this is natural: a reliable producer and a solid … great looks, attracting potential buyers (rather, their client, I am no exception), as bees to honey.
Skoda Fabia – a good car. Who’s arguing? Even after several years of daily operation (including the extremely “salty” winter roads) galvanized “armor” the car looks decent. Salon also has good durability. The only drawback – cover gear stick, which is frayed to the holes already in the second year of operation of the new car. The best way out – cover made of genuine leather. However, not all the problems of this car are solved as easily.
Most trouble delivering, as a rule, little things. Headlight rear window “Fabia is able to ruffle even the most hardened enthusiast: jumps down the feed tube (fix collar), is often lost the cap or nozzle (not expensive, but still costs). Do the windshield washer pump flows. A typical “disaster” “Fabia” (this I read in a specialized Autoforum) is the spontaneous flow of warm air into the saloon car in case of failure servo valve heater (requires replacement valves).
If the car body is somehow cope with the winter salt and road dirt, the electrician is not as resistant to these pressures and starts to play up: zalipaet button windows, electric mirrors and the depressed inner lock the central locking.
Shortly after the start of operation, I suddenly realized that the ” Skoda Fabia “in not so perfect, what I saw it initially, but outside of the car creates a sense of respectability. It is for this “feel” and offer to pay the owners of used cars amount equal to the cost of similar new car, though not so pretentious appearance, for example, “Symbol” or “Rio”. However, the new Renault Symbol, I would buy under any circumstances. Not because he is so bad. Do not like it! In contrast to the same Fabia.
A vicious circle? Not at all! Everyone chooses the car, which suits him and his family. First rides and happy, and then lying under the car and scolds automotive industry. Or sell your car, “without waiting pertitonita. The usual thing!
