The Skoda Fabia line is about to be extended with the introduction of the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, a new model with enhanced sports styling and bespoke interior. Launched to celebrate 100 years of the Monte Carlo Rally, and commemorate the 110 year anniversary of the brand’s motorsport efforts, this special edition model is a nod towards Skoda’s sporting pedigree.
From the outside, the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo boasts a dynamic look, underlined by the introduction of piano-black body trim, which extend over the wheel arches and down the full length of the car, a black roof, black door mirror covers, a black radiator grille top, smoked headlamps and black 17″ lightweight Trinity alloy wheels.

Following a successful assault in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge this year, Škoda has announced a special edition Fabia vRS S2000 to commemorate the all-conquering Fabia S2000 which helped the brand to take the IRC Constructors’ Champion title.
The special edition model is fitted with a 1.4 TSI 180bhp turbocharged and supercharged engine, which provides a 0-62mph time of 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 139mph. The engine is mated to a seven-speed DSG twin-clutch gearbox which can operate in two modes – fully automated and manual Tiptronic.

Skoda is presenting the new Skoda Fabia vRS hatch and estate at the Geneva Motor Show, where it will join the sports-tuned Skoda Octavia vRS. Skoda released the Fabia Blue Line Special Edition and it is available for the moment only on the British market in a 500 pieces limited edition. The new model features a white roof, new alloys and lowered suspension for a more sporty and trendy looks.
At the interior, the Fabia Blue Line got the “Magic” upholstery, climate control air conditioning. Storage boxes under the front seats and a glasses storage space.
Few surprises are in store – it follows the formula set down by the Roomster and Octavia Scouts. So it’s based on the estate version of the new Fabia, but has only ‘visual off-road features’. That means no four-wheel drive to you and me, so it’s another weird faux-by-four. Skoda has concentrated on plastic cladding and chromed roofrails on this concept car that’s surely a dead cert to enter production.
